Women's Monty Lo : Gray/Smoke

I ordered my usual shoe size, but these felt like they were designed for hobbits—at least a size too small! To make matters worse, they don’t even make larger sizes. As someone with wider feet, I felt like I was trying to squeeze a watermelon into a teacup. Needless to say, it didn’t work out.

Overall it's hitting the exact retro hiker notes I like in the Danner Jag, which no longer comes in low-ankle versions. These Ridgemonts have a narrower toe box than the Danners, however. As the styles I like to wear with this kind of shoe often involve thicker socks, that can leave the front half of my foot a little constrained.

Thinking of theses suckers as a hiking shoe is limited. I wear these daily.

This is a gift for someone but I love all the Ridgemont shoes I own so I’m sure the this are as amazing as the 4 pairs I already own

Great look and feel, only complaint is they feel little narrow especially in toe region, wish was bit wider
