The Monty is an ode to the classic light hikers of the 80s. This was always one of our favourite styles and we were saddened to see this silhouette following in the same path as the average middle aged person's waistline. We decided to resurrect this classic style and put it on a much needed health program to get its proportions back in check. After many miles and few good cries, we think the Monty is ready for any adventure you come up with.

  • Colour-matched eyelets.
  • Eva-cush footbed - antimicrobial, lightweight, supportive and super comfy.
  • Variflex lasting board - stiff in the mid and heel, softer in the toe. Protects the underfoot from sharp stones whilst retaining flexibility in the forefoot for comfort.
  • UK Unisex sizing.
  • Standard F width.

Robust and stylish!

This is my second pair of Mony Lo - the last was in a different colour and not Hydroguard, but I really like the quality and design of the these shoes. The other pair have lasted well and I expect these will too. Excellent fit from the first time worn, so frankly, happy all round.

Super Comfortable Shoes

This was my first pair of Ridgemont's shoe offerings. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but I'm glad I did try them out because these might just be some of the most comfortable shoes i have owned. So much so that I ordered another pair of Ridgemonts. (I wear a size 12 and that is what I ordered and they fit just fine.)

Arrow toe box

Get o e to two sizes up I’ve never had such a narrow toe box. Nice shoes though

Sturdy but not well padded

I love the build, I normally wear a 9.5 but I got the 10. Should have stuck with 9.5. They have very little padding under foot. They're great for day hikes but I wouldn't take them out on a multi day trip.
