My second pair of Ridgemonts and very happy with the Escape shoe in brown. Fits my wide feet, nicely water repellent and don’t look too obviously like walking shoes.

I buy a pair every couple of years. Very durable for the price. Especially considering most trainers fall apart after a few months. Not Ridgemont. Recommended.

Comfy and good looking

I've finally found a pair of hiking trainers that look good AND are good for the job. Light, great materials, no over moulded footbed, no narrow heel to twist your ankle. One point- the sizing is 'just' about right, slightly small. If you really intend to wear fat socks, go up a half -otherwise stick to normal. I had a small issue with my order, but they sorted it very quickly - so good customer care too.

Second pair of these. Wear them for work - comfy and smart.

Been looking for a while for a pair of 'retro' trainers and didn't want NB or Merrell. These are great, lightweight but really well made, good sizing and comfy straight out the box, the socks were really good too!
