MONTY HI
The Monty is an ode to the classic light hikers of the 80s. This was always one of our favorite trekking boots and we were saddened to see this silhouette following in the same path as the average middle aged person's waistline. We decided to resurrect this classic style and put it on a much-needed health program to get its proportions back in check

New this season is a lockstitch side seam for an ultra secure outsole bond and a BiFit composite lasting board for enhanced durability and improved flex in the forefoot. Add to that our bespoke open-cell innersole to eliminate moisture and most importantly, keep you comfortable. And, dare we say it, makes your feet look pretty cool.

Our Technology

Crafted from lugged outsole, and Open Cell Foam technology, and vulcanized construction, our euro hiker boots will allow you to go from the river to the mountains with all-day-comfort. Our shoes were created for people who need to hike to the surf break, then go get a breakfast burrito, and then go to the office. With packed features and urban looks, Ridgemont will sure to be your next best trekking shoes.
OILED SUEDE
Our suede is hand-selected from only the best European cow hides in similar thicknesses. Suede is naturally very abrasion resistant, but it’s not very water resistant, So we impregnate ours with oil to make a waterproof barrier and ensure it is ready for whatever you throw at it.
Ridgemont uses a custom composite lasting board to provide variable flex characteristics along the length of the shoe. We wanted a shoe that would be very flexible at the ball of the foot but more rigid from the arch to the heel so the shoe is more rugged over uneven terrain. This is also one of the main reasons our shoes are super comfortable right out of the box.
